What I've been holding on to

This day moved so quickly, and was filled to brim with an early morning airport drop-off for my husband, onsite and virtual coaching sessions, a PLC book study, breakfast AND dinner out (lovely to catch-up with friends), a walk around the block with my neighbor and our dogs, three loads of laundry to prep for a work trip.

But the most important thing to know is that I filled six brown grocery bags with recycling.

I've been holding on to
extra copies of handouts from workshops,
paper exit tickets, tallied and sent to the client,
professional readings that I also scanned,
handwritten minutes from long, long ago PTO meetings,
samples of student work from a demonstration writing lesson,
old anchor charts, word lists, bent index cards... so many things to let go of.

Now there is some space for me to keep empty.

Today's Slice is in response to the prompt "What have you been holding on to?"
